Corporate Responsibilities

As the Managing Director of the Minnesota region for Commonwealth Commercial Partners, Todd is primarily responsible for the daily operations as well as the long-term planning and growth in the Greater Minneapolis and St. Paul and markets. Additionally, Todd is a liaison between owners and tenants to resolve daily tenant concerns, ensure lease compliance and manage all construction and vendor services relative to each of his properties.

Mr. Adams joined Commonwealth Commercial Partners in 2019 concurrent with the firm’s acquisition of Two22, a 720,000 square foot, Class A office tower in downtown Minneapolis.

Prior to joining Commonwealth Commercial Partners, Mr. Adams had 29 years of experience with Hines, one of the largest real estate investment and management firms in the world with over $90B of assets under management. As a Vice President of Property Management for Hines, Mr. Adams was responsible for a diverse portfolio of over 9 MM square feet of mixed-use commercial and corporate developments located in Minnesota and Nebraska.

Mr. Adams has a proven track record of success in the repositioning and stabilization of assets while meeting or exceeding investor financial goals.


Mr. Adams received his Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance from St. Cloud State University. He holds a Real Estate Broker’s license from the State of Minnesota.


Todd maintains an active presence in several local industry associations, including BOMA and NAIOP.
