Known for her hands-on management style, she is committed to delivering exceptional service to both owners and tenants. Sarah prioritizes strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and a customer-first approach that fosters long-term relationships and tenant retention.

Experience

With over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, Sarah has led high-performing property management teams prior to joining Commonwealth. She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, equipping her with the strategic insight to guide clients in making sound, value-driven decisions for their investments.

Beyond operational management, Sarah is passionate about cultivating a positive workplace culture. She strives to create an environment where team members, owners and tenants feel valued, respected, and heard.

Sarah graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in English.

What Matters

What’s something you always look for when evaluating a property or deal?

When evaluating a property, I always look at the cleanliness of the landscaping and the lobby. This is a person’s first impression of a management team. You can always tell how organized and efficient the property is running by looking at these 2 areas.

What do clients value most after working with you?

I believe clients value our communication and willingness to find multiple situations. I had a client tell me that they thoroughly enjoy working with our team because we do what we can to figure out how to make something work. There isn’t an immediate no. It’s a “I’m-not-sure-if-we-can-do-that-but-let’s-think-of-some-options”.

What’s something about this market that only a local expert would know?

This depends on which city we are talking about; Commonwealth is equally in Dallas and in Houston! In Dallas- Landlords rule and each submarket have its own demand. Las Colinas looks like corporate campuses while Deep Ellum looks like creative retail hybrids. In Houston, location is everything. Because Houston is an hour away from Houston, an owner’s proximity to major highways with great property management will drive tenancy more than a brand new, class A build.

What do you enjoy most about working at Commonwealth?

The team environment makes every day enjoyable at Commonwealth. We take our wins and losses together. We learn and grow together and there is support all around us.

What motivates you outside of work?

My family is always my motivation. They get me up in the morning and knowing I get to come home at night to love, and support is everything to me.
