Sam is a Senior Vice president and Partner of Commonwealth Commercial Partners, LLC and concentrates in the sale of land for both Multi-family and Senior Housing Communities, as well as the sale of existing projects.

Sam started his real estate career in 1972 in residential sales. He started focusing on multi-family sales and development in the 1980’s when he was Land Acquisition Manager for Summit Properties, a multi-family developer based out of Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining Commonwealth Commercial in 2003, he was a Senior Vice President for the local affiliate of Grubb & Ellis where he was a consistent Top Producer and awarded the Circle of Excellence. Some of Sam’s past clients include Equity Residential, The Hanover Companies, Roseland Property Company, Omni Corp., Crowne Partners, S. L. Nusbaum, Gumenick Properties, Terra Forge Communities and Rialto Capital, to name just a few.

Sam has been a consistent Top Producer and has been recognized by the Richmond Board of Realtors as such. He was awarded the Circle of Excellence by the Grubb & Ellis for being one of the Top 50 Producers in the country, and is a Partner in Commonwealth Commercial. Past Mentor for Urban Land Institute.
