What Matters

What’s the most rewarding part of helping a client buy, sell, or operate a property?

The most rewarding part about helping a client secure a property is the appreciation that they share after the process is finished. Many of these clients have tight timelines or have not been in the market for years and helping them protect their interests and avoid hasty decisions is a great feeling.

What’s a moment where you made a meaningful difference for a client?

One moment when I believe I made a meaningful difference to a client was when I helped a local HVAC business owner find his new space. He inherited the business from his father and wanted to honor his father’s work by carrying on the business, but he is also a full-time firefighter so he did not have a lot of time and energy to dedicate to the process. He had very specific location and budget requirements and we were able to find a space near his home and client base, achieve a lease rate that was almost 20% below the asking rate, and move in all in a matter of weeks.

What do clients value most after working with you?

I believe what clients value about working with me is my quick responsiveness and transparency. I always try to demonstrate my effort every day, even if significant strides towards their goals are not made every single day over the course of their assignment.

What kind of people thrive at Commonwealth?

The kind of people that thrive at Commonwealth are those who truly want to collaborate and harness each other’s connections and expertise. In my experience at Commonwealth, it is very rare to see just one person on a listing or working with a tenant or buyer without some sort of internal collaboration. People at Commonwealth are happy to share knowledge without expecting a commission, and happy to share deals with people for the certainty of another assignment or deal in the future from the same people they shared their previous deals with.
