As Vice President of Finance, Dan supervises the financial analyst functionality within Asset Management. In addition to his involvement with numerous financial analyst assignments, Dan is also responsible for the training and development of fellow financial analysts, gathering client feedback, and optimizes efficiency while continuing to manage his team’s workload.
Experience
Dan has been with the Commonwealth Asset Management team since 2022. Prior to joining the Asset Management team, Dan worked in the Accounting Department. He was responsible for the accounting functions of over 2 million square feet of commercial real estate assets, following AICPA standards of GAAP, tax accrual, and cash basis methods of financial reporting. Before joining Commonwealth, Dan was the Accounting Manager for a Real Estate Developer in Richmond, VA, specializing in historic rehabilitation tax credit projects and ground up multi-family investments.
Education
Dan graduated from Radford University in 2018 with a BA in Accounting.
