What’s something you always look for when evaluating a property or deal?
I always look at a new property from the perspective of how we can improve the asset for the client. That may be major capital improvement projects or simple changes to property services like landscaping and janitorial. Sometimes a minor tweak can drive curb appeal and enhance tenant experiences.
What’s a moment where you made a meaningful difference for a client?
It feels great to help a new client with a single/small property that needs some guidance on their investment. Commonwealth Commercial can present a game plan and a level of professionalism that puts them at ease and takes some stress off their plate.
What does being a true partner to your clients mean to you?
A true partner is being honest and open with your client with every aspect of the property. As a property manager, there are times you must present bad news along with the good. It is important to be transparent and always have a plan of action for how to address any obstacle that may arise.
What do you enjoy most about working at Commonwealth?
Everyone is very professional and polite. That starts with the leadership and partners setting the example of how to speak with and treat everyone in the company.
