On March 11, Scott Holman announced that CCP has been awarded the property management of Hampton Oaks Business Park in Tampa, FL. This 260,000 square foot project is centrally located in Tampa’s East Side submarket at the intersection of Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 301. The property consists of six high-quality single-story office/flex buildings and is currently 95% leased to tenants including Verizon, Century Link, Rooms-to-Go and Direct Insurance.

Boston-based Albany Road acquired the property from an affiliate of Alidade Capital on March 3, 2020. This assignment represents an expansion of CCP’s Albany Road relationship here in Florida, on the heels of the Meridian Concourse project which was awarded in December 2019.

The entire CCP transition team did a great job with the setup of this project, allowing for seamless integration with the client and the tenants. Congratulations to all on this new assignment!

Henrico strip mall sells for $1.5M

Laurel Park Shopping Center in Henrico sold for $1.5 million, Commonwealth Commercial Partners LLC announced Friday.

The strip mall located at the corner of Woodman and Hungary Roads encompasses more than 16 acres of land, and is located less than 2 miles from Reynold Community College. The shopping center’s primary retailer is Dollar General.

SIGNAL HILL APARTMENTS SELLS FOR $7.6 MILLION

Richmond, VA – Commonwealth Commercial Partners, LLC is pleased to have facilitated the sale of the 68-unit Signal Hill Apartments and 1-residential house located at 8111 Signal Hill Road in Mechanicsville, VA. The property was deemed attractive because of its solid construction, excellent hands-on management and the dearth of multifamily product available in Hanover County. The residence/office is an up-to-date four-bedroom, three full bath house which will be a rental, with a separate management office to be used by the new ownership.

The property was placed on the market in the Fall of 2019 and the purchaser, an affiliate of Peak Strategic Capital from Washington, D.C., was selected competitively from a number of qualified prospects hailing as far away as California and New York. The new buyer bought the apartments with Freddy Mac financing.

Bruce Milam, Chip Louthan, and Colton Konvicka of Commonwealth Commercial represented the Seller. This property closed on March 26th, 2020 and sold for $7.6 million.
