What Matters

What’s the most rewarding part of helping a client buy, sell, or operate a property?

I always tell prospective clients that – when the transaction is complete – I would like for them to be so thrilled with their experience with me and Commonwealth that they will tell their friends. That is the reward of the deal. The relationship – not the dollars.

What does being a true partner to your clients mean to you?

As one of the owners of our firm, I acutely understand the challenges of today’s business owners. Real estate is the 2nd largest expense for most firms, and I take my role in my clients’ lives seriously, strategically, and tactically.

What do you enjoy most about working at Commonwealth?

Our people are what make our firm great. Not good – great. We hire the right people, train them the right way, and have high performance and values standards to which we hold them accountable. Our people are smart, capable, fun, accountable, and incredibly talented. The kind of people you would like handling your real estate.

How do you stay connected to the local market outside the office?

I proudly serve on the Board of Directors for The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and The Virginia War Memorial Foundation.
