Stern joins us as a recent graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Business Marketing. At Commonwealth, he is focused on retail leasing and sales. As a new resident to the Richmond area, he comes bringing a wealth of knowledge and insights on the Fredericksburg market.

Stern kickstarted his career at Johnson Realty Advisors as an intern. He is steadfast in his creative approach to the world and is excited to dive into the commercial real estate scene. Out of the office you can find Stern on the golf course, at a concert, or watching the Commanders.

How do you approach a deal differently than others in the market?

To me it's never directly about the deal, but rather the relationships and stories that come out of it. Understanding pain points, intentions, and aspirations comes well before diving into the deal points.

What’s the most rewarding part of helping a client buy or sell a property?

Being a factor to the continued success of a client and their business. It is inspiring to be a propeller for growth, especially when it involves a local business that helps shape the community around them.
